We’ve been providing services for older people in the Wellington Region since 1976. Our vision is for the older population to be a thriving, respected and engaged part of the community.
For the past 17 years, we’ve been based in Anvil House on Wakefield Street. At the end of October, we relocated to Level 4 of the historic Dominion Building. We’d outgrown our space at Anvil House, reflecting our steady growth and the increasing need for programmes and services that support the wellbeing of older people in the region.
The Dominion Building, at 78 Victoria St, provides the room needed for our operations, allowing us to better serve our staff, volunteers, and the community.
This move marks an important milestone for our organisation as we will be well-positioned to strengthen our social connection initiatives and wellbeing programmes, and continue to improve the lives of older adults across the Region.
