Community support

Age Concern Wellington Region receives more than 4,000 phone calls a year. Many of these are older people wanting advice, support or information relating to a wide range of topics. If we can’t help, we usually know someone who might be able to.

We maintain links with other social service providers in the area to ensure we stay up to date with the issues facing our seniors and the steps being taken to deal with issues.

You can see a list of topics below with related agencies.
